Grade 5,Natural Disasters-Earthquake ,8/6/16

An activity was conducted on the different structures that would last during an earthquake.The students created structures like tall buildings and broad base ones with building blocks and the structures were kept on a table and the table was shaken for 10sec,it was a first hand learning experience for the kids as the tall buildings fell off. This activity developed their scientific thinking
