Grade 3 - Measurement - 17 February 2016
The students were asked to count the
number of footsteps taken to reach the other side of the room. This was
done by means of one foot touching the other foot in front, running,
hopping and walking. They were also asked to fill in a bucket with water
and count the number of glasses taken to fill the bucket. The students
enjoyed learning with fun. This activity made them understand the importance of measurement.

Grade 3-States of India project-Date: 17th Feb 2016
Each student was given
a particular state and were asked to prepare a presentation about the
traditions, festivals, food, culture, historical places of those states. It was
a delight to see few students dressed up in the traditional outfit and speak
about those states. A few others also showed some classical dance forms wherein
few of them bought famous cuisines of those places. Students also bought some
handicrafts which are made in those states and few made beautiful picture
charts. All the students presented their topics well. The aim of this project was
to teach kids that India is a land of diverse cultures and traditions.
