To prove that light
travels in a straight line, the students were asked to hold the cardboard with
holes in a straight line as well as shift one of the cardboard blocking the
path of light, a candle was kept on one side and the children were asked to peep
from other side. It was understood through this experiment that light travels
in a straight line.
