Renaissance (Art festival)-15th August 2015 - Class Performances

Grade 1:-                                                    
On the ocassion of Independence Day students of Grade1 performed in various cultural activities. Parents witnessed Hindi and English speech; students also performed a Group Dance dedicated to our mother land-" I love my India". Students showcased a Group Action Song dedicated to the solders of our country-“Kadam Kadam Badaye Jaa” which was appreciated by parents. Students arranged a Quiz Contest- 'Do you know' for parents which had some general knowledge question about our country. Parents and students enjoyed celebrating Independence day together. 
Grade 2 :-
On occasion of Independence Day students of grade 2  began with a speech in English “I Love my India” followed by a patriotic song sung by students “Meri Desh Ki Dharti”, next was a Marathi speech on “Grow more trees” and amazing dance on song “India Walle.”
Later there was a quiz for the parents. Students presented ‘well done’ cards made by them who gave correct answers. Parents as well as students enjoyed Independence Day with great enthusiasm.
Grade3:-
The Grade 3 Independence Day performance started with speech in Hindi followed by English Speech. The students performed a Group Dance on the peppy number “Chak De India” Thereafter a solo song 'Sare Jahan se Accha' was sung by a student. The students also displayed their acting skills by performing a hindi skit on theme 'Vriksh aur Vanya Praniyo Ki Mitrata'. A student also entertained the audience with his musical performance and played the song 'Hum Honge Kamiyaab' on the keyboard. A group song 'Aao baccho tumhe dikhaye' was also sung by the children. The performances ended with our national anthem 'Jana Gana Mana'. Parents were very happy to see their children perform with a lot of interest and enthusiasm.
Grade4/5/6:-

The students of grade 4, 5 & 6 showcased their talents with some exciting performances during the Independence day function. The students performed a group skit on the theme 'Save Water' and Group Dance dedicated to our mother-india ‘Vande Mataram’. The parents also witnessed some individual performances of speech in Hindi and Marathi by our students. A duo displayed their musical talent by playing national anthem and “Saare Jahan se achchaa” on the keyboard. The performances ended on a special note where all the parents pledged and signed on how they are going to save water during their daily activities.
