Nursery, Jr. Kg and Sr.Kg – Parent Volunteer – 10th August, 2015

Nursery- Topic – Dance of India

Mrs. Sharmila Gharge and Mrs. Smita Bhatia performed a Rajasthani folk dance. They were dressed in authentic Rajasthani attire.  Kids enjoyed every moment of the dance and cheered up the parent.

Jr. Kg – Topic – National Leaders

Mr. Sanket Gadkari gave the information about our country rulers and rights before independence and after independence. He started with how the Britishers ruled over us and our trade transaction with other country. These were shown with help of flash cards of ornaments and spices in India. He spoke about our Indian Leaders who fought for our country and we got independence on 15- August -194. The National Leaders Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, Lokmanya Tilak and Jhansi Ki Rani were some leaders who gave their life for our country. He also spoke about our first Prime Minister of our country Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Kids responded very actively and were very curious and happy to know about our country.

Sr. Kg – Topic –Monuments of India

Mrs Anshu Agarwal spoke about the monument of India – Tajmahal. She brought a picture of Tajmahal and showed it to kids, Tajmahal was built by Shahjahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz whom he loved very much. She explained in details how the Tajmahal was prepared with the help of marbles brought by 10000 elephants from all over India; he required 20000 workers and completed Mumtazmahel in 22 years. Tajmahal is located in Agra, and it is one of the seven wonders of world. She showed the 3D model of Tajmahal to kids and distributed the picture of Tajmahal among the children as a take away.


These moments were enjoyed by parent and even children enjoyed it. Parents were happy to perform in front of kids and children also showed lots of involvement in this.
